Policies

Each order you place is a legally enforceable contract. If you fail to pick up your order, you are still obligated to pay for the items you ordered.
We will inspect and pack all orders prior to distribution. In the event that the product gets damaged during packing, we will provide a store credit or offer a replacement item to the customer for the following week.
Our goal is to provide the highest quality produce, and we require our producer to deliver market-grade products. The customer understands that since our farmers do not use pesticides or herbicides, fruits and vegetables may not look "perfect."

Urban Farming Collective Food System (UFC Food System) takes all reasonable steps to protect your Personal Information from misuse, interference and loss, as well as unauthorized access, modification or disclosure. We do not sell, rent or give our email list, customer list or any personal /financial information to anyone. The ways we do this include:

  • using encryption when collecting or transferring sensitive information, such as credit card details

  • limiting physical access to our premises

  • limiting access to the information we collect about you

  • ensuring that we and our Business Partners have appropriate security safeguards to keep personal information secure

  • where required by law, destroying or de-identifying Personal Information

    We treat your information with respect and concern for your privacy. We do not disclose any nonpublic information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as permitted by law.

     

    Due to the perishable nature of the products, all refund requests must be sent within 24 hours of accepting delivery. If you want to receive credit/replacement for a damaged product please email support@ufcfood.org a picture of your product. If you try an item and do not like it- we LOVE the feedback, but are unable to refund you for consumed items.

    Missing add-ons, store orders, and damaged products will either be replaced the following week or reconciled with store credit. Missing items must be reported during your locations stated pick-up time to be eligible for replacement or credit.

    Missing vegetable boxes are subject to a refund by means of credit to your next box. Please email support@ufcfood.org during your locations stated pick-up time to be eligible for a refund. Emails received after your locations stated pick-up time about missing produce, add-ons, or store orders may not be eligible for a refund.

    If you are picking up from one of our truck parking lot pickups: 
    After we have handed you your orders, please check everything at the location to make sure that you got what you ordered and that it is in good condition.
    **AFTER YOU LEAVE WITH YOUR FOOD ORDER, WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ISSUE REFUNDS OR ADD CREDITS FOR DISCREPANCIES

     

    HOLD POLICY

    You can skip your delivery for any week for any reason! Hold requests need to be made by Saturday at 11:59pm for the following week. You can place a hold by logging into your account, selecting Delivery Hold and placing your hold. Alternatively, you can select Upcoming Deliveries and X the deliveries you need to skip. You can also email support@ufcfood.org the dates you need to skip by Saturday at 11:59pm for the following week and we can place the hold for you. If you would like to donate your box to a family in need in lieu of placing a hold please email support@ufcfood.org the date you would like to donate your delivery and we will charge you for that order and donate your items!

    If you miss the deadline to hold your order for the following week you will still be charged for your order, but we can donate your share to a family in need. Please email support@ufcfood.org to donate your share.

     

    You can cancel your CSA at any time for any reason!

    Please email support@ufcfood.org your cancellation request by Sunday at 11:59pm for your cancellation to take effect the following week. Cancellations made after Saturday at 11:59pm will take effect 2 weeks later.

    Store credits will not be refunded.

     

    Urban Farming Collective Food System (UFC Food System) can only guarantee veggies/add-ons/store orders during the time slot under each location. If you miss pick up feel free to reach out to your location as soon as possible to see if they still have your share, but keep in mind most locations will donate items upon closing due to lack of refrigeration/space. You are still responsible to pay for the items you do not pick up. Urban Farming Collective Food System (UFC Food System) cannot guarantee items beyond the day and time of each locations' delivery window so please be sure to pick up on time!


    If you are picking up from one of our truck parking lot pick-ups you will have 4 opportunities to pick up your share on your assigned day, PLUS the opportunity to pick up Saturday at 4501 North High Street Columbus OH 43214 (right off of High Street behind Chipotle) from 10am-1pm. After Saturday you will not have any more options for pick up for that week so please make sure you have all of your items before leaving! Unclaimed items from Saturday's pick-up will be donated.
